It's been a long weekend here in New Brunswick and we couldn't have asked for a nicer one, weather wise. Yesterday we went to my husbands aunt's home where she was holding her annual "Pool Party," she has also recently turned 80 years old.
I made this set of cards for her as a thank you/birthday gift. She is a quilter so I felt these would be used well by her. She was pleased with the gift.
I was inspired by Chiaki Haverstick's set found on her blog. http://stampingpro.com/tea-party-top-note-box
Paper: Greenhouse Gala DSP, Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Baha Breeze.
Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Baha Breeze
Stamp Sets: Oval All, and Perfect Punches both from the new Idea Book and Catalogue
Accessories: 1 1/4" square punch, Wide Oval punch, Scallop Oval punch and Modern Label punch, Buttons and ribbon are retired except for the ribbon on the Pumpkin Pie card, this is white satin Ribbon that has been colored with the Peach parfait marker; I tried the pumpkin pie marker but found it way too dark. Topnote die with the bigshot, window sheet and adhesives.
Thank you for stopping by!
