I am finally getting the pictures posted. I have had this ornament finished for over a month but every time I went to post it the pictures were not uploaded. This is Linda Heller's, from Stamping School, version of the ornament although once I was finished I realized I didn't put the Linen Thread on them. I wouldn't use the glitter again either.....I love the look but I hate the mess!
It was not a difficult project but was very time consuming, the results are very gratifying though so I guess it is worth it!
I found that the Stampin'Up! version was too crisp and bright for my liking so I did another version using Crumb Cake CS instead of Whisper White. I found it interesting how the colors look so different on the different colored paper. I used the Starburst Jumbo Wheel to Stamp the Crumb Cake Card Stock for the medallion in the center of the Crumb Cake ornament.
Supplies used are as follows:
Stamp Sets: Ornament Keepsake (w-128048 or c-128051), Starburst Jumbo Wheel(124090)
Paper: Whisper White(100730) or Crumb Cake(120953), Candlelight Christmas Specialty DSP (126901) or
Inks: Gumball Green(126861), Cherry Cobbler(126966)
Accessories: Jumbo Handle(103661), Dazzling Diamonds(102023), Large Basic Pearls(125577), Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons(127555), 2-way Glue Pen(100425), 1 3/8" Circle Punch(119860), Big Shot (113439), Designer Rosette BigZ XL die(125594), Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies(127816), Cherry Cobbler(127841) or Crumb Cake(127840) 3 1/2" Scalloped Tull, Hot Glue gun.
If you click on the pictures you can see a larger version of them. I do have another ornament partially finished so I will post it when it is finished.
Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great weekend,
Sharri
