Snow Flurry Garland
I saw this garland on Bekka Prideaux's blog and just had to recreate it. It uses the new Snow Flurry Bigz Big Shot die (127813) from the Holiday catalogue and the Glimmer paper.
I did two versions.....
.......one with the new Champagne color (127885) and Gold Brads (119741)
And one with the Silver Glimmer paper(124005) and Silver brads (119741)
They are joined with brads to make a single garland or you can also create patterns by joining them in different places.
This is a very simple but effective project!
Thanks, Bekka!
I hope your holiday projects are coming along well.
Thanks for stopping by.

Blue Christmas!
I stamped and cut out this ornament at the same time as I did the other ones posted previously, but I only got so far and then wasn't sure what I wanted to do to finish it. I finally decided to make it simple and this is the result!
I love it!! (Click on the picture for a larger view.)
Stamp Set: Ornamental Keepsakes(w-128048 or c-128051)
Ink: Midnight Muse(126860)
Paper: Crumb Cake(120953), Midnight Muse(126843), Silver Glimmer Paper (124005)
Accessories: 1 3/8" Circle Punch(119860), Dazzling Diamonds(102023), 2-Way Glue Pen(100425), Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons(127555), Rhinestone Basic Jewels(119246), Big Shot(113439), Holiday Ornaments Framelits dies(127816), Snow Flurry Bigz Die(127813), Crumb Cake 3 1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon(127840)
It is very vintage, I don't usually do vintage but I do like this!
Have a great weekend!

Falling Snow??
I hope we don't see that for a while, but one never knows! I don't mind these flakes at all though. I continued to play but with the Snowflake Soiree(w-127922 or c-127925)set and blue inks. This Whisper White (100730)card was masked and stamped with VersaMark(102283) then embossed with White Embossing powder(109132). Inks were then applied with sponge daubers(102892). to create the focal image. I used Island Indigo(126986), Pool Party(126982) and Midnight Muse(126860). Basic Rhinestone Jewels(119246) were added to the centers of the snowflakes. The sentiment is from More Merry Messages stamp set(w-126400 or c-126402).
This card was masked with torn Post-it notes again and then the inks were applied and the snow flakes were stamped in Midnight Muse(126860). The whole card was over-stamped with the new Illuminate Glimmer Watermark pad(126857) from the Holiday Catalogue. I made a boo-boo with ink from the edge of a stamp so I covered it up with the 2 smallest snowflakes from the new Bigz Die, Snow Flurry(127813) in Whisper White and Midnight Muse(126843) card stocks.
A closer look at the Illuminate glimmer ink, the photos do not do this any justice at all.
These were very quick and rewarding card to create.
I have many more to share so check back in a day or two.
Have a great day!
